In order to ensure understanding and thorough general awareness of research ethics, the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences established "Ethical Guidelines for Research", and holds two levels of research ethics guidance (simplified version and detailed version) and tests especially for students to check level of understanding.
Guidance is carried out by department.
(1) Simplified version of guidance: Attend at the time of enrollment.
(2) Detailed version of guidance: Attend after six months from enrollment.
(3) Test: To be held after the detailed version of guidance.
Students must attend the guidance and pass the test above, otherwise they will not be able to submit a thesis and/or a doctoral dissertation.
