The Progress of Nuclear Fusion Energy Development

Some private capital has started supporting the development in recent years. This seminar gives information on the basic principles of the nuclear fusion mechanism and introduces the characteristics of fusion energy and the progress of fusion energy development.

p53 had been considered an oncogene for a decade since its discovery. Later, it was recognized as a “ tumor suppressor gene.” Now, it is the most researched gene. This seminar introduces the history of p53 and research outcomes on it.
Mental and Physical Conditions Detection by Wearable Devices

If physical and mental conditions, such as depression, can be automatically detected, it allows early treatments for illness and various medical applications. To realize this, research on passive mobile sensing to monitor mental and physical conditions passively by something we use every day, such as smartphones, is promoted. This seminar introduces the trend of passive mobile sensing research.
