Scholarship for GSFS International Students

Application Deadline May 7th (Fri), 2021 by 16:00pm
Eligibility
(1) Master's or doctoral course students of GSFS who are residing in Tokyo. (Research students, and MEXT scholarship recipients are not eligible.)
(2) Those who have excellent academic achievement and good character, need financial support.
Amount Amount: 120,000 JPY per month.
Duration: April 2021  to the end of Standard Study Period
Apply To Applicants must first send (1) and (2) via email to ILO. Then submit other necessary documents  (3)-(8)  to ILO in person or per post by the deadline.
Application Form should be printed in single page and should not be stapled.

(1) Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations
(2) Copy of Student ID card
(3) Application form (Foundation specified).
(4) Certificate of Enrollment: 1 Original (issued after 1st, 2021.)

Academic Transcripts: 1 Original (certified copies are accepted.)
Student in the 1st year of master course: Transcript of undergraduate school
Student in the 2nd year of master course: Transcript of undergraduate school and master's course.
Student in 1st year of doctoral course: Transcript of undergraduate school and master's course.
Student in 2nd and 3rd year of doctoral course: Transcript of undergraduate school, master's course and doctoral course.
(6) A hand-written recommendation letter from an academic supervisor, in a sealed envelope. If applicant is newly enrolled in GSFS, he/she could ask a supervisor in undergraduate course to write. For details of contents, see the foundation guideline.
(7) A recent photo (4.5cm x 3.5 cm, taken within 6 months)
(8) Certificate of Residence (with an address in Tokyo).
