Scholarship for GSFS International Students

Application Deadline February 10 (Thu), 2022 by 16:00 March 17 (Thu), 2022 by 16:00
Eligibility
(1) International students who are nationals of the following countries:
Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia.
(2) Privately financed international students who will enroll in the first year of a master's course at GSFS, or will advance to the second year of a doctoral course as of April 1, 2022. (only April enrollee)
(3) Those who are physically fit and are of excellent academic standing and who need financial support.
(4) Those who are younger than 35 years old as of April 1, 2022.
(5) Those who are not receiving other scholarships.
(6) Those who are interested in international understanding and amity, and will commit to participating in events hosted by the Foundation.
- Event: October 15th (Sat) and 16th (Sun), 2022
- Scholarship award ceremony: October 17th (Mon), 2022
(7) Those who are interested in international understanding and amity, and will commit to participating in events hosted by the Foundation.

Amount
Amount : 120,000yen/month (master's course) 180,000yen/month(doctoral course)
Duration : April 2022 - March 2024

Apply To Applicants must submit the following documents to ILO via email. (ilo[at]edu.k.u-tokyo.ac.jp; replace [at] with @.)

(1) Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations
(2) Transcript of your current course (or your previous course if you have not obtained any credits.)
(3) Copy of your residence card
(4) Copy of your student ID card

Before submitting your application, be sure to read Steps to apply since scholarships with the University recommendation can not be declined.

An applicant who passed the GSFS internal screening will be required to submit other documents stated in the guideline.
