The lecture will focus on environmental ethics and a new framework for environmental education in light of the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011. 　

Organic materials are originally closed-shell semiconductor materials, but by designing molecules, it is possible to create highly functional organic materials such as superconductors and ferromagnets. 　 In this lecture, we will introduce the forefront of research from molecular design to functional construction. 　

Bionanomachines, which are constructed by assembling soft components such as proteins that can deform significantly, efficiently carry out life phenomena at the molecular level. We will show how this has been revealed by large-scale simulations.
