This module pursues brain-bio research through experimental and theoretical approaches. The experimental approach elucidates brain function at the molecular, cellular, circuit and system level through brain/body measurements, bioimaging and gene technologies. The theoretical approach aims to construct basic theory of brain information processing and biological mechanisms, and applies the theory to develop new perception/recognition devises and human aid systems.
